A synchronization in progress looks like one
The detail view used to show a problem message for a run in progress even when nothing was wrong. A problem is now announced only when there genuinely is one.
Instead of a frozen counter you see the stage in plain language — fetching, tidying up, matching against what you already have — how long it has been running, and an honest note that a long transaction history can take a few minutes.
You can see what reconnecting your bank achieved
Reconnecting a bank exists so your history is not duplicated. Until now the app said nothing about it — only how many transactions it fetched.
The detail view of a finished synchronization now shows how many transactions Martia recognized as ones you already had, how many duplicates it merged, and how many were genuinely added as new.

On a first connection and on a reconnection Martia fetches the whole available history and matches it against what you already have. The current stage and elapsed time are visible in the synchronization details.
When you reconnect a bank we receive the same transactions again. Martia recognizes them and merges them with the ones you already have instead of adding a second copy. The merged count tells you how often that happened.
