The last day of ownership is included
In the “In your net worth until” field, enter a year, a year and month, or an exact day. Entering 2021 means 31 December 2021, while 2021-06 means 30 June 2021. The asset still counts on that day and has a value of zero from the next one.
The end date cannot be earlier than “In your net worth since”. The field is for assets such as a flat or car; a loan keeps its own repayment history.
History stays while current numbers stay true
A sold asset remains visible and editable. The chart preserves the period when you owned it, while current net worth, Martia's answers and the retirement forecast no longer include it.
If you enter a date by mistake, open the asset, clear the field and save. The asset will count as currently owned again.
Domande frequenti
No. You can enter just the year, or the year and month. Martia uses the last day of that period.
No. The asset and its earlier history stay. It only stops contributing to current totals and forecasts after the end date.
